Brod New Power Authority ED
Mike Brod was appointed executive director by of the Colorado Water Resources and Power Development Authority on February 1, 2010. Prior to his appointment as executive director, Mike was the Authority’s finance director for the last 15 years. The Authority manages five water-related infrastructure programs and has executed over $1.7 billion in water infrastructure loans to Colorado municipalities and special districts. Mike, as chief executive officer, is responsible for all operational aspects of the Authority’s financing programs for the Drinking Water Revolving Fund, the Water Pollution Control Revolving Fund, the Small Water Resources Projects Program, the Water Revenue Bond Program, and the Small Hydropower Projects Program. Mike received his B.B.A. in finance from the University of Texas (1983) and an M.B.A. in finance from the University of Colorado (1993).
