February 8, 2007--Snowpack 86 Percent of Average (Pagosa Springs SUN)

By Feb. 1, the Colorado snowpack was 91 percent of the long-term average. The local San Juan Basin snowpack was slightly below average at 86 percent. Its water content was 17 inches, or 85 percent of th 19.9 inch average...The Rio Blanco and Navajo Rivers both should see streamflows at 94 percent of average, while the San Juan is looking at flows of 89 percent. To date, the Piedra River is expected to come in at 91 percent of average this spring.
